4123 Grievance Procedure


Grievance should ideally be resolved at the lowest possible Administrative level.

The Board of Education recognizes the formal grievance procedure contained in the Professional Negotiations Agreement between the Moffat County Board of Education and the Moffat County Education Association. However, most grievances can be resolved without recourse to such procedures. Teachers should first discuss grievance with their Principal, and if dissatisfied with his/her resolution should refer the matter to the Superintendent.

Other personnel should first discuss grievance with their immediate supervisor and if dissatisfied with his/her resolution should refer the grievance to the Superintendent.
