All personnel employed by the Moffat County School District Re: No.1 shall receive a salary as defined in a salary schedule adopted by the Board of Education.

It is the policy of the Board of Education of the Moffat County School District Re: No. 1 that each teacher and other licensed staff employed in the school district shall obtain a minimum of 6 semester, or ninety (90) clock, hours of approved credit as required for licensing by the state of Colorado during each 5 year period of employment. Such credit to coincide with state license renewal dates. These hours must meet the guidelines of the District and the State.

The Board of Education will withhold a teacher’s salary if the above requirement has not been fulfilled.

Contract Deadlines:

Horizontal lane changes on the salary schedule will be granted two times annually. Requests for experience and degree changes must be presented in writing to the Office of Personnel on or before September 1 or February 1 for consideration. No change in regard to the “Degree,” “Step” or “Experience Step” of the salary schedule may be made in that year’s contract other than these dates without special approval from the Superintendent.
