4134 Section 125 Flexible Benefit Plan
SECTION I: PURPOSE
The Moffat County School District established this Flexible Benefit Plan in order to make a broader range of benefits available to its employees and their beneficiaries. This plan allows employees to choose among different types of benefits and select the combination best suited to their individual goals, desires, and needs. These choices include an option to receive certain benefits in lieu of taxable compensation.
In establishing this plan, the Moffat County School District desires to attract, reward, and retain highly qualified, competent employees, and believes this plan will help achieve that goal.
It is the intent of the Moffat County School District to establish this plan in conformity with Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations issued by the Internal Revenue Service.
