4171 Communicable Diseases - Staff


The Board of Education of Moffat County School District RE- 1 recognizes the need to protect the health and welfare of students and staff members. The district will respond in a prudent manner to an employee diagnosed as having communicable disease and/or life threatening medical condition, including, but not limited to, hepatitis, mononucleosis, chicken pox and HIV/AIDS. Appropriate actions relative to the employee’s continued duty will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The board therefore directs the superintendent to develop administrative procedures to deal with communicable diseases and/or life threatening medical conditions.
