MCSD has implemented an ELL program in each building in the district. This service includes grades pre-12. We provide services in conjunction with state and federal guidelines to provide an individualized program for each ELL student. The Woodcock- Muniz test is used for our Hispanic students to determine placement and services needed. More info on ELL

Gifted and Talented (GT)
The GT program in MCSD has gone thru many changes in the last year and continues to improve. Staff are being trained to assess and implement GT programs for all age level students.

Home School
As per state law, all students must attend school up to the age of 16. Students may attend a public or private school. All home-schooled students must be registered with MCSD. For further information contact Christine Villard, Director of Student Services, 970-826-4249

After School
There are numerous after school activities and programs throughout the district. MCSD, Craig Parks and Recreation and private organizations may operate these programs. For further information please contact your local school or Craig parks and Recreation.

SWAP
The SCHOOL TO WORK ALLIANCE PROGRAM (SWAP) in collaboration with the Moffat County School District, the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and local businesses, is a program designed to assist young adults with mild to moderate employment needs engage in a successful career path to employment.
