CURRICULUM OUTCOMES/STATE STANDARDS:
The learner will construct tables and graphs. The learner will
calculate the parts of a circle graph based upon money spent at Matt’s
general store. The learner will recognize the concept that the circle
graph shows how the parts relate to the whole.

| PROCEDURES:
1. Teach the following lab activities and lessons in the sixth-grade Math Advantage textbook. (Circumference pp. 416-417, Lab Activity pp. 432-433, Lesson 22.5 pp. 434-435, Lab Activity pp. 244-245, Lesson 12.4 pp. 246-247). 2. Play the game Oregon Trail per the directions in the packet. 3. Complete the mathematical worksheet. 4. Draw the circle graph using the data from the worksheet. 5. Draw the computerized circle graph using the data from the worksheet. |

1. Successful completion of the mathematical worksheet. 2. Successful completion (drawing) of the circle graph per the information from the mathematical worksheet. 3. Successful completion of the computerized drawing of the circle graph per the information from the mathematical worksheet. |
