Maintenance how-to

The purpose of the Maintenance Department is to keep district facilities in a safe and orderly condition for the use of all staff and students

Repairs, facilities projects, furniture moves, and other similar tasks are handled by Maintenance. Maintenance also handles door keys and key fobs.

Here are the steps and contacts for several common needs staff might have that the Maintenance Department can help with.

-Need something repaired?

Step 1: Contact your building secretary and ask them to submit a work order.

Step 2: If the work is not completed within 72 hours, email maintenance secretary Taylor Smith at taylor.smith@moffatsd.org.

-Have a bigger project in mind, such as painting a room or installing a wall?

Step 1: Talk to your building administrator.

Step 2: If you get the administrator’s approval, fill out the the maintenance request form.

-Need furniture moved?

The district has designated moving days where the entire crew works together to move things around the district. Email Taylor Smith for information about the next moving day.
