About Us

About Moffat County High SchoolMoffat County High School serves all Moffat County students as they prepare to enter the next phase of the academic or professional careers. Led by co-principals Erika Miller and Michelle Tucker, assistant principal Bailey Benedict, and Athletic and Activities Director Trey Woosley, along with a phenomenal team of dedicated, caring, talented teachers and staff, MCHS is committed to getting students ready to thrive at the next level.

MCHS has gone through a lot of changes through the years, and those changes will continue, but it's a good time to be a Moffat County Bulldog. State testing results took a huge step forward in 2024-25, and graduation rates increased in 2024 substantially, with similar growth expected once 2025 statistics are released. Advances in career and technical education are an exciting new way MCHS students get ready for post-high school opportunities, whether in the trades or elsewhere. Partnerships with local community college brings Bulldogs the opportunity to graduate from high school with an associate's degree. Activities and sports provide extracurricular opportunities, including DECA and FBLA, robotics and a full variety of traditional high school athletics teams. The arts are also a critical piece of the MCHS puzzle, as visual and performing arts are a hallmark of a great academic experience for any Bulldog.
